EURESP - European Regional Environmental Services Platform

EURESP is project a co-financed by the European Commission within the framework Enterprise Europe Network  EURESP provides pro-active services that support small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to improve their environmental performance. This project also co-ordinates the environmental services sector in order to encourage growth and increase uptake of these services in each sub-region of the participant countries. Targeted SMEs are particularly those specialized in Food Production, Waste Management and the Manufacture of Building Materials.

Environmental Services Offered to SMEs:

  • Preparatory regional studies which identifies existing support programmes, Environmental Service Providers (ESPs) as well the environmental needs of SMEs;
  • Improve resource efficiency (energy, waste, etc)
  • Implementation of environmental management systems
  • The establishment of local cooperation agreements with ESPs;
  • The organisation of free workshops and seminars;
  • Mediation activities between SMEs and ESPs;

EURESP will deliver services to an estimated 470 SMEs across 5 European territories promoting the transnational exchange of experience and knowledge sharing.
